What is eTA?
Canada ETA visa (Electronic Travel Authorization) is an automatic system that allows Canadian authorities to evaluate passengers prior to their arrival in Canada in order to decide whether they can enter the country and whether such travel involves a security risk.
What are the the basic eTA requirements?
- Be a citizen of a country exempt from the obligation to obtain a temporary residence visa.
- Have a valid passport.
- Have sufficient funds to pay for your stay in Canada.
- Convince the immigration agent of the assets that you have with your country (for example, work, studies, real estate or financial assets) as a guarantee of your return.
